Smells of apricot tarte-tatin (very nice indeed) and really takes up texture from the skin contact. Killer Orange Wine!!! The grapes are fermented with native yeast. Each vintage was aged at least 100 days on the skins before being tasted and blended for bottling. Grape Varieties: Zold veltelini (gruner veltliner, leanyka, olasz rizling (grasevina)) Alcohol Content: 14.5% Hegyi Kalo is a family winery, with organic viticulture and low intervention wines. They do all the vineyard work by their own, to make the best for each plants they work with. The winemaking is without any additions and long ageing in traditional hungarian oaks, usually after few days maceration.
